Loan Signing Agent in Utah
Notary signing agent, trained and background-checked to handle lender closing packages for refinances, purchases, and HELOCs — mobile to your home or office in Provo, Salt Lake City, and across Utah, in-office, or remote.
What a signing agent actually does
A loan signing is different from a standard notarization. A closing package can run over a hundred pages — the Note, Deed of Trust, Closing Disclosure, right of rescission, and a stack of lender disclosures — and it's usually on a hard funding deadline. One missed initial or wrong date can delay funding or unravel the whole closing.
As your signing agent, we walk you through where each signature and initial goes, notarize the documents that require it, and confirm the package is complete before it goes back to title or the lender. What we don't do is explain or advise on your loan terms — rate, payment, whether this is the right loan for you — those questions belong with your lender or an attorney, ideally before signing day.
Signings we handle
Any type of loan signing — purchases, refinances, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, seller-side documents, and anything else that comes across from title or a lender. If it's a closing package, we've likely done it.
Signings are mobile by default — we come to you, wherever the closing is happening.
How a signing works
Title or lender assigns the signing
We receive the closing package, confirm the appointment time and location with the borrower, and confirm document counts.
We print and prep
The full package is printed and organized in signing order before the appointment.
We meet you — wherever works
Home, office, or another location. We walk through each document, confirm signatures and initials, and notarize where required.
Package returned on deadline
Completed documents are shipped or returned to title/lender per their instructions, in time for funding.
Loan signing FAQs
What is a loan signing agent?
A notary trained specifically to handle mortgage closing packages — guiding the borrower through signatures and initials, notarizing what's required, and returning the package on the lender's deadline.
Will you explain my loan terms to me?
No. We handle the mechanics of the signing correctly and on time, but can't give legal or financial advice about your loan. Questions about rates or terms belong with your lender or an attorney.
Do you come to us for the signing?
Yes — signings are mobile by default. We typically meet at your home, office, or another location that works for your schedule, and also offer in-office or remote (RON) closings.
How fast can you turn around a closing package?
Most packages arrive from title 24–48 hours before signing. We confirm receipt, print, and schedule right away, and can often accommodate same-week or next-day requests.
